COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The Maryland women's soccer team will play its final two-game week of the regular season when the Terps travel to face Wisconsin and Minnesota this week.
The Terps will first face the Badgers on Thursday, March 25 before taking on the Golden Gophers on Sunday, March 28. Both games will kickoff at 2 p.m. EST.
THIS WEEK'S STORYLINES

Maryland played to a scoreless draw with one of the top teams in the country March 13, drawing Rutgers 0-0 in College Park. It was just the second game the 17th-ranked Scarlet Knights have been held without a goal this season.

Maryland honored its seven-member senior class on Sunday, March 21 in the team's final home game.

Prior to the match, Maryland recognized Hope Lewandoski, Alyssa Poarch, Malikae Dayes, Alexis Hogarth, Anissa Mose, Mikayla Dayes and Sydney Staier for their contributions to the program.

Maryland is 0-2-3 all-time vs. Wisconsin since the teams first met in 2014.

Maryland is 2-4 all-time vs. Minnesota, but picked up a 2-0 win when the teams last met om September 22, 2019. Alyssa Poarch and Mikayla Dayes both slotted goals in the victory.

Ray Leone in his fifth season at the helm for Maryland, a season removed from leading Maryland to its best-ever finish in the B1G. UMD finished 9-8-3 in 2019 and earned a trip to the school's first-ever Big Ten Tournament. The Terps went 5-5-1 in league play to finish sixth in the conference, the highest for a Maryland team.

The Terps return all 10 of their goal scorers from 2019, including Alyssa Poarch, who bagged eight goals and had three assists for Maryland. Mikayla Dayes (5) and Loren Sefcik (3) are also back, while Hope Lewandoski and Adalee Broadbent each recorded two goals during the 2019 campaign.
