ProTerps Update: Wiggins Returns Home as Huerter's Breakout Season Continues

Fernando remains sidelined with knee soreness, he has not played since Monday, Oct. 22. Reports say that Fernando was doing agility work at practice this week but is not yet ready to make his return to the lineup. He started the season-opener at Atlanta where he scored 7 points to go with 9 rebounds and 7 assists.

Huerter logged his fifth 20-plus point performance so far this season, tallying 24 points, five assists, and five rebound in a 137-129 win over the Detroit Pistons. He is averaging career-highs in both points (16.6) and three-point percentage (49.5%) this season.

Alex Len has appeared in five games so far this season for Sacramento, with his best performance coming in a seven point, three rebound game against the Los Angeles Lakers.

JALEN SMITH – INDIANA PACERS

Smith has scored in double figures over four consecutive games, including a 10 point, 18 rebound double-double in a 99-91 Indiana win over the Houston Rockets. His 18 rebounds against Houston are a career-high.

Wiggins returned to the Xfinity center, watching Maryland's 76-52 victory over Binghamtom. The Oklahoma City forward started for the Thunder the next day as they claimed a dramatic 121-120 win over the Washington Wizards. He currently holds averages of 6.2 points and 4.0 rebounds per game.
