PISCATAWAY, NJ – The Maryland wrestling team picked up three wins in a 31-13 loss to Rutgers on Saturday afternoon in Jersey Mike's Arena. The Terps (5-12, 0-8 Big Ten) wins on the day were headlined by No. 16 184-pounder
Kyle Cochran's 9-4 decision victory over No. 8 John Poznanski. Cochran's win on Saturday was his 20th victory on the season, the most of any Terp.

King Sandoval's 12th pin of the season not only gave the Terps its first lead of the year but also came against No. 16 Joseph Olivieri. Even more impressively, Sandoval accomplished the feat in under a minutes time.
174-pounder
Dominic Solis picked up a 9-1 victory over Connor O'Neill, taking him down multiple times and not allowing the Scarlet Knight to gain any offensive momentum.
