OHIO STATE STORYLINES
TERPS TAKE TWO IN A ROW
- Maryland is set to welcome back the 2002 Maryland Men's Basketball National Championship team as it celebrates its 20th Anniversary.
- Hall of Fame head coach Gary Williams, in addition to star players Juan Dixon, Lonny Baxter and Steve Blake, and many more are expected to be in attendance.
- The Terrapins memorably defeated a string of previous National Champions in the NCAA Tournament on their run to the title: Wisconsin, Kentucky, Connecticut, Kansas and Indiana.
- Maryland will be issuing 4,000 white t-shirts to the Terrapin student section to commemorate the 20th Anniversary of the 2002 National Championship.

- Graduate guard Fatts Russell has been on a tear recently, averaging 21.6 points on 45-percent shooting over his last five games.
- He has scored at least 18 points in every game during that span. He is also averaging 4.8 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 2.0 steals during that period.

- Fatts Russell needs just two points to reach 2,000 for his career. Russell has averaged 13.6 points/g over his five-year career, including a career-best 18.8 points/g as a junior in 2019-20.
- He currently stands as the only active Division I player with 1,900 points, 500 assists and 225 steals.
LIVING AT THE LINE
- Maryland is currently second in the Big Ten in both free throws made (415) and attempted (551), while converting at a 75.4-percent rate (2nd in the Big Ten).
- The effort has been led by Fatts Russell, who is eighth in the league in both free throws made (97) and attempted (124).
GOTTA HAVE HART
- Maryland is 10-1 this season when junior Hakim Hart has at least two steals in a game. He is currently fourth in the conference with 1.54 steals/g.
AYALA IN ELITE COMPANY
- Against Indiana, senior Eric Ayala knocked down his 211th career 3-pointer to further climb Maryland's all-time 3-pointers list. He currently sits third, trailing only Juan Dixon (239) and Greivis Vasquez (230).
- Ayala also ranks 24th in program history with 1,372 points.
