COLLEGE PARK, MD - The Maryland Softball team will take on the No. 22 Michigan Wolverines Thursday, April 14 - Saturday, April 16. The games will be streamed through BTN+.

Maryland comes off a 2-1 series win over Purdue, the third Big Ten series win in a row for the Terps, the most since joining the conference in 2015. At 7-2 in the Big Ten, the Terps have secured their best conference start to the season since 1999. Maryland also defeated Coppin State 8-0 in run-rule fashion Wednesday, April 6th.

Junior pitcher Courtney Wyche had a dominant week for the Terps - posting a 0.00 ERA and 2 wins in both of her appearances. In Maryland's game over Coppin State, Wyche pitched 4.1 of the 5 innings and tallied 0 runs, allowing just one hit and struck out 8, accounting for over 50% of the Eagles' outs. In the Terps' 9-0 shut out of Purdue, Wyche allowed 0 runs and just 5 hits, striking out 6. The Terp brings her overall record to 9-4, and her ERA to 2.37.

The Wolverines head into the weekend with a 2-1 series win over Penn State, in addition to a win over Central Michigan. Senior RHP Alex Storako lists second nationally with 217 total strikeouts and sixth with an 11.9 strikeouts-per-seven-innings average. She owns 11 double-digit strikeout games, including 17 in her last outing against Penn State.
