Maryland, Johns Hopkins Set for Rivalry Meeting

COLLEGE PARK, Md. – The unanimously top-ranked Maryland men's lacrosse team hits the road for a trip to Homewood Field and a meeting with the John Hopkins Blue Jays.
This is the 116th meeting between the two programs since Maryland became a varsity team after 1923. The Terps are going for a fourth-straight victory over Hopkins after three wins last season.
Both the Terps and Blue Jays will be partnering with 15ForLife, a foundation focused on creating an open dialogue regarding depression and mental health. Founded by Maryland alum Steve Kavovit, the organization will be represented during Saturday's "Mental Health Match-Up" with helmet stickers worn by both teams. JOHNS HOPKINS STORYLINES
- Maryland has had ten or more goal scorers in six straight games, with exactly ten in the last four games. Seven Terps have double-digit goal totals this season while 11 Terps have double-digit point totals.
- Maryland is outscoring opponents by 94 total goals this season, or 8.5 goals per game.
- The Terps are tops in goals per game (18.4), assists per game (10.8), points per game (29.2), shooting percentage (.402), and scoring margin (8.6). All of that has the Terrapins as the lone remaining unbeaten squad.

Fifth-year senior Logan Wisnauskas has established himself as one of the most dangerous offensive players in college lacrosse during his career with the Terps, and now leads the Maryland in his final year with the program. Here's a look at Wisnauskas by the numbers.
1 - Wearing the iconic "1" jersey, Wisnauskas averages more assists per game (2.45) and points per game (5.64) while wearing the jersey than any other to wearing the number for Maryland.
3 - Wisnauskas (299) is third on the active list of D1 players in points, 96 behind the active leader in Chris Gray of North Carolina (392)
5 – Wisnauskas (179) is third on the active list of D1 players in goals, 21 behind the active leader in Gray of North Carolina (200)
8 – Wisnauskas has six career eight-point games as a Terrapin – the most in program history – last posting eight (5G, 3A) in Maryland's season-opening win over High Point.
19 - Wisnauskas looks to become the 19th student-athlete to ever reach 300 points in their career. He'd be the first Terp to do so.
34 - Wisnauskas has recorded 34 hat tricks in his career with seven this season. The 34 beats Joe Walters (32) for most by a Terp.
68 - Wisnauskas has recorded a point in 68 straight games, every one of his career. He's four ahead of the next closest player, Asher Nolting of High Point.
- With last weekend's victory, the Terps won their sixth Big Ten regular season title in seven seasons since the conference formation.
- This was the Terps second straight regular season title. They also won the 2021 Big Ten Tournament with a 12-10 victory over Hopkins.
