COLLEGE PARK, Md. – The top-seeded Maryland men's lacrosse team begins postseason play as they welcome two-seed Rutgers to Maryland Stadium for a Saturday night game on Big Ten Network.
Maryland advanced to the finals with a 16-11 victory over Johns Hopkins in the first semifinal before Rutgers topped Ohio State 12-10 in the evening semifinal. The Terps topped the Scarlet Knights 17-9 on April 10, also at Maryland Stadium.

Playoff push
- The Terps gunning for a second straight Big Ten Tournament championship and NCAA Finals appearance.
- Throughout program history, Maryland has won seven conference tournaments . Four came in the ACC and three in the Big Ten.
- In the Big Ten Tournament, Maryland is 8-3 with three tournament titles in four finals appearances.

- Fifth-year senior Logan Wisnauskas has established himself as one of the most dangerous offensive players in college lacrosse during his career with the Terps, and now leads the Maryland in his final year with the program. Here's a look at Wisnauskas by the numbers.
- 1 - Wearing the iconic "1" jersey, Wisnauskas averages more assists per game (2.54) and points per game (5.92) while wearing the jersey than any other to wear the number for Maryland.
- 3 - Wisnauskas (314) is third on the active list of D1 players in points, 87 behind the active leader in Chris Gray of North Carolina (401)
- 5 – Wisnauskas (188) is third on the active list of D1 players in goals, 16 behind the active leader in Gray of North Carolina (204)
- 8 – Wisnauskas has seven career eight-point games as a Terrapin – the most in program history. He last posted eight (5G, 3A) in Maryland's dominating victory over Johns Hopkins (22-7, Apr. 23)
- 19 - Wisnauskas became the 19th student-athlete, and first Terp, to ever reach 300 points in their career.
- 36 - Wisnauskas has recorded 36 hat tricks in his career with seven this season. The 36 beats Joe Walters (32) for most by a Terp.
- 70 - Wisnauskas has recorded a point in 70 straight games, every one of his career. He's four ahead of the next closest player, Asher Nolting of High Point.

- Maryland dominated the Big Ten Yearly Honors with four of the five yearly awards going to the Terps. Plus, the maximum of eight players found themselves on the All-Big Ten teams, including five on the top line. Those were all program record numbers.
- Among the yearly awards, Logan Wisnauskas was Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year, Brett Makar was Big Ten Defenive Player of the Year, Luke Wierman was Specialist of the Year, and Coach Tillman was unanimously Big Ten Coach of the Year.
- The First Team All-Big Ten featured Wisnauskas, Makar, Wierman, Keegan Khan, and Roman Puglise. On the second team was Jon Donville, Kyle Long, and John Geppert. With only eight players allowed per team, the Terps earned the maximum number of spots
WHAT does it take to be #1?
- Maryland was ranked No. 1 in the country in both the USILA Coaches Poll and the Inside Lacrosse Media Poll this week for the eleventh straight week. This was their fifth week as the unanimous selection.
- The Terps have been tabbed No. 1 in at least one of the polls at some point during the year in four of the last six seasons.

- Maryland has won 38 consecutive games when allowing an opponent under 10 goals dating back to the 2017 National Championship season.
- The Terps' defense held opponents to 10 or fewer goals in eight of their twelve games this season. The stellar defense comes alongside a squad that has forced 116 turnovers.
- Logan Wisnauskas has started 70 consecutive games and recorded a point in all 70. He has multiple points in his last 54 games.
- Maryland was won 24 consecutive regular season games dating back to Feb. 18, 2020.
- A Terp has record a hat trick in 52 straight games dating back to May 26, 2018.

Coaching Matchup
