Seven Terps Invited to USA Lacrosse Training Camp

COLLEGE PARK, MD - Seven Maryland Lacrosse alumni have been invited to Team USA Men's Lacrosse Training Camp ahead of the 2023 World Lacrosse Men's Championship.
The Terrapin alumni include: Jesse Bernhardt, Matthew Dunn, Michael Ehrhardt, Colin Heacock, Connor Kelly, Matt Rambo, and Logan Wisnauskas. The 2023 World Lacrosse Championships will take place in San Diego from June 21 through July 1. The United States has won 10 of the 13 World Championships throughout history.
Bernhardt is looking to make his third US senior team while Ehrhardt was MVP of the 2018 All-World Team. Both won the 2018 Gold Medal with Team USA in Netanya, Israel.
An assistant coach since 2017, Bernhardt also competes for Chrome LC and has been a four-time All-Star throughout his career.
Dunn, a Baltimore native, was a two-time All-American in College Park before becoming a five-time All-Star professionally.
Ehrhardt was also a two-time All-American at Maryland and has been an All-Pro the last three seasons with the Whipsnakes LC.
A 2017 NCAA Champion and team captain, Heacock has twice been named a PLL All-Star. He also competed with the USA Sixes team earlier this summer.
The first overall pick of the 2020 PLL Expansion draft, Kelly was a 2018 Tewaaraton Award Finalist and two-time All-American in College Park.
Rambo, the 2017 Tewaaraton Award Winner, has gone onto become a two-time PLL Champion and, in 2019, was named both Most Valuable Player and Athlete of the Year.
Recently the 2022 Tewaaraton Award Winner, Wisnauskas is excelling in his rookie campaign for Chrome LC with 18 points in five games.
