The No. 10 Maryland Defense Holds Strong As Terps Shutout No. 16 Michigan, 1-0

Box Score ANN ARBOR, MI -- The No. 10 Terrapin defense was the difference maker in Ann Arbor, protecting a 1-0 lead for the majority of the game. No. 16 Michigan's offense was relentless for all 60 minutes, as they put up 20 shots on the night. 

Graduate transfer Sammy Popper's early goal propels the Terps to their eleventh win of the season.

Freshman Alyssa Klebasko earns her third shutout victory of the season and remains undefeated as a starter. 
 
Breaking Down The Action
  • Popper gave the Terps their first and only goal of the day after they were awarded their first penalty corner opportunity of the day. Sophomore Ericka Morris-Adams and Margot Lawn tallied assists on the goal.
