
Maryland Set for NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional Championships

COLLEGE PARK, MD - The Maryland cross country team will head back to Lehigh this weekend for the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regionals Championships. The team traveled to Lehigh earlier this year for the Paul Short Run. The women's 6K race is set to start at 12:00 P.M.
The Terps are looking to carry on from where they left off two weeks ago at the Big Ten Championships in Madison, Wisconsin, were they secured a top-10 team finish, and the team's best result at the conference championships since 2017. Junior Katie Altieri led the way for the Terps in Madison, coming in 34th place out of over 150 runners. Rose Coats and Anna Coffin also secured top-50 finishes for the Terps, finishing back-to-back in 46th and 47th place.
