NASHVILLE, TN – Maryland gymnastics posted a score of 196.725 and placed second at the Kidney Care Women's Gymnastics Championships on Saturday at Nashville Municipal Auditorium. The meet was a supportive effort for National Kidney Month. The Terrapins faced Iowa, Pitt, Talladega and Georgia in their session.
The Terps were solid on each apparatus but had the most success on their final rotation on vault. They led all schools at the meet with a 49.275 score. Natalie Martin and Josephine Kogler each scored 9.900s to lead Maryland. They were also in a four-way tie for the highest score amongst all competitors. Jogler's score set a new career-high.
The Terrapins were led by Madeline Komoroski and Alexa Rothenbuescher on floor. They both scored 9.900s.
