No. 9 Terps Score Season High In 20-5 Win At William & Mary

WILLIAMSBURG, VA – No. 9 Maryland women's lacrosse scored a season-high in its 20-5 win at William & Mary on Wednesday. It was the most goals scored in a game since Maryland's 22-4 over William & Mary last season on March 8.
Maryland (5-1) dominated on offense from start to finish and kept William & Mary (3-4) at bay. Hannah Leubecker and Maggie Weisman led the Terps as each posted a hat trick. Leubecker added an assist.
Libby May, Kori Edmondson, Eloise Clevenger, Hailey Russo, Shaylan Ahearn and Jaylen Rosga each scored twice. Clevenger also posted two assists and became just the ninth player in program history to reach eclipse the 100 career assist milestone.
Meghan Ball notched eight draw control wins and Shaylan Ahearn followed with six.
The Terps improved to 30-6 against William & Mary in its program's history.

- William & Mary scored first, but The Terps scored a barrage of goals. Hannah Leubecker and Libby May each scored twice and Eloise Clevenger, Hailey Russo, Shaylan Ahearn and Kori Edmondson added goals to take an 8-2 lead after one quarter.

- Libby May and Hannah Leubecker are No. 11 and 13 respectively on the career goals list. May has 177 and Leubecker has 174. May broke a tie with Zoe Stukenberg (2014-17) and surpassed Allison Comito (1998-2001).
