maryland tournament Preview
- Head coach Adam Hughes and the Terps are looking to make a dent in non-conference play with strong opponents across an 11-game slate. They are eager to break into the next level of play while navigating the new landscape of the Big Ten with the addition of four new, high-level programs.
- The Terps are facing a familiar foe in American on Saturday. Maryland owns a 16-0 all-time record over the Eagles. It's been over a decade since these programs last met, with Maryland taking a 3-0 victory over American in 2012.
