
Sadam Masereka Takes Home B1G Offensive Player of the Week

COLLEGE PARK, MD -- Sadam Masereka has been named Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week for his performance at Michigan State on Nov. 7 to clinch the Big Ten Championship for Maryland.
Masereka lit up the box score Friday night, scoring a hat trick in the first half vs. Michigan State. It was the first hat trick scored by a Terp since 2017 and the first scored in one half since the 2005 season. Masereka's hat trick helped the Terps finish off their first undefeated regular season since the 2016 season.
The award marked the first Big Ten Weekly Award of Masereka's Terp career. The forward leads the team with nine goals in 2025.
The Terps hold a 12-0-3 record and remain one of just two unbeaten teams in the nation. Maryland will host the Big Ten Tournament which begins on Wednesday with the Terps playing UCLA at 7:00 pm at Ludwig Field. The match will be televised on Big Ten Network.
