COLLEGE PARK, MD – Head coach John Tillman has announced the Maryland men's lacrosse program's 2026 schedule. The Terrapins will once again face a challenging slate, highlighted by a mix of traditional rivals, marquee non-conference matchups, and a full Big Ten schedule.

Maryland will face a familiar group of opponents in 2026, with every regular-season opponent having appeared on the Terps' schedule in recent seasons. The schedule features perennial national contenders and historic rivalries as the Terps prepare for another demanding spring.

The Terrapins open the 2026 season on the road, traveling to Richmond on Saturday, Jan. 31. Maryland will then return to College Park for its home opener the following weekend, hosting Loyola at SECU Stadium on Saturday, Feb. 7.

After opening the season, the Terps head to Syracuse for a Friday night matchup on Feb. 13 before returning home to host Princeton on Saturday, Feb. 21.

Maryland continues non-conference play with a home contest against Notre Dame on Saturday, Feb. 28, followed by a road trip to Delaware on Friday, March 6. The Terps will then wrap up non-conference action by hosting Virginia at SECU Stadium on Saturday, March 14.

Big Ten play begins on March 21 as Maryland travels to Penn State. The Terps will then continue conference action with a road game at Michigan on March 28 before returning home to host Ohio State on April 4 and Rutgers on April 11.

Maryland will close the regular season with its annual rivalry game against Johns Hopkins on Saturday, April 18, in Baltimore.
