Eric Spanos Named Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week

COLLEGE PARK, MD -- Senior Eric Spanos has been named the Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week, the conference announced today, Feb. 11. Spanos and the No. 6 Terps are coming off an 8-7 overtime win at Loyola.
Spanos tied his career-high with four goals in the win. The Pottstwon, PA scored three of his goals in the fourth quarter to help the Terps erase a three-goal deficit in the final frame. Spanos also tallied two groundballs.
The honor is Spanos' third of his career, winning twice last season. It is the first Big Ten weekly award for a Terp in the 2025 campaign.
The Terps will host No. 2 Syracuse on Saturday, Feb. 15 at 2 pm at SECU Stadium. The game will air on B1G+.
