HAVRE DE GRACE, MD -- The Maryland women's golf team wrapped up at the Big Ten Women's Golf Championships Sunday at Bulle Rock Golf Course in Havre de Grace.
Senior
Panassaya Somchit led the Terrapins and finished with a score of 222 (73-71-78), which was +6. She tied for 29th.
Freshman
Chananyu Chowiwattana and junior
Nicha Kanpai each earned scores of 224. Chowiwattana went 77-73-74 in the three rounds and Kanpai went 76-70-78.
Graduate student Karla Elena Vazquez Setzer shot a 230 (76-79-75) and freshman
Anna Pillard shot a 232 (80-79-73).
As a team, the Terrapins earned a score of 895 (302-293-300). The Terrapins beat Iowa, Penn State, Indiana, Washington and Nebraska.
