COLLEGE PARK, MD – Each week during the 2024-25 season, a Maryland student-athlete who demonstrates excellence on and off the field is recognized as the Solomon Eye Physicians & Surgeons Terp of the Week.

This week's honoree is senior Jack McDonald of the Maryland men's lacrosse team.

McDonald anchored the Terps' defense in a 9-6 win over Georgetown, helping shut down a Hoyas offense that had averaged 18 goals over its previous five games. The senior led a defensive unit that held Georgetown scoreless for the first 16:48 of play and allowed just one goal in the fourth quarter to seal the victory.
