Volleyball Travels To Coppin State For Tuesday Matchup

COLLEGE PARK, MD -- The University of Maryland volleyball team will travel to Baltimore on Tuesday to face Coppin State. First serve is set for 11 a.m. ET, with the match streaming live on ESPN+.

  • Transfer Ajack Malual had a career weekend for the Terps in North Carolina.
  • On Friday, she recorded a career-high 20 kills in a win over Davidson, then followed it up with another career-best 21 kills against Wake Forest a few days later. Defensively, she added 16 digs and eight blocks.
  • Malual becomes the first Terp since Erika Pritchard (2019) to record 20+ kills in a match while hitting over .400.
  • She has quickly made her presence known in the Big Ten, currently ranking fifth in the conference with 118 kills this season.

  • Lilly Wagner continues to lead the Terps in assists in her first season, averaging 8.44 per set. The redshirt freshman recorded a double-double this past weekend on Saturday against Davidson.
  • On the defensive side, Ally Williams is averaging 3.81 digs per set. She posted a career-high 22 digs against Coastal Carolina to open the season.
  • Eva Rohrbach leads the Terps with 1.38 blocks per set. The junior is second in the Big Ten in blocks with 44.
