Maryland Caps Sweep of Wagner With 15-10 Win

Brayden Martin had a four-hit day as Maryland moved to 5-0 at home in 2026.

COLLEGE PARK, MD — Maryland used a nine-run second inning to jump ahead of Wagner and cruise to a 15-10 win to finalize the Terps' weekend sweep and move to 7-4 on the season. Brayden Martin recorded a four-hit day with four RBIs in the win. Maryland scored 46 runs across its three-win weekend, and the Terps have smacked nine homers in five home games at Bob "Turtle" Smith Stadium in 2026.  Maryland loaded the bases before an out was recorded in the second inning, sparking a nine-run frame that featured RBI hits from Martin, Ty Kaunas, and Ryan Costello before Jordan Crosland left the yard for his second homer in as many days.  Wagner pushed three runs across in the third and four in the fifth to work back into a contest that featured five Maryland pitchers, but the Terps responded with a two-run sixth as they loaded the bases again. Maryland took 21 at-bats with runners on base in its seventh win of the season. Martin tallied his second-career four-hit game while Devin Russell picked up his first two hits of the season as in his third start of the season behind the dish. Kaunas drove in a pair of RBIs as he and Martin combined for six RBIs at the top of the Terps' order.  The back end of Maryland's bullpen was strong on Sunday, holding Wagner to two runs across the final four innings of the game.
