COLLEGE PARK, MD — Each week during the 2025–26 season, a Maryland student-athlete who has demonstrated excellence both on and off the field of competition is selected as the Solomon Eye Physicians & Surgeons Terp of the Week.

This week's honoree is senior Brian Ruppel of the men's lacrosse team.

Ruppel recorded a season-high 14 saves in the Terps' 13–12 triple-overtime victory over Virginia. He also caused a turnover in the first overtime to give Maryland possession and made two key, back-to-back saves in the third overtime to regain possession, which led to the game-winning goal.
