
Former Maryland Volleyball All-American Ericka Pritchard Signs with League One Volleyball

COLLEGE PARK, MD -- Former Maryland volleyball All-American Erika Pritchard has signed a professional contract with League One Volleyball (LOVB), returning to the United States to continue her professional career.
Pritchard returns to the U.S. after a standout season in Italy's Serie A1, one of the top professional volleyball leagues in the world. She also spent time competing professionally in Switzerland and France before joining LOVB. A Maryland native, Pritchard now brings her international experience back home as she continues her professional career.
One of the most accomplished players in Maryland volleyball history, Pritchard competed for the Terrapins from 2017 to 2020. She finished her collegiate career as the program's all-time leader in points (1,790) and ranks second in school history with 1,526 kills.
During her senior season in 2020, Pritchard earned First Team All-Big Ten honors after ranking second in the conference with 339.5 total points and 339 kills. She was also selected to the 2020 USA Volleyball Collegiate National Team-Gold roster.
As a sophomore in 2018, Pritchard was named First Team All-Big Ten, AVCA All-North Region, and VolleyballMag.com Honorable Mention All-American after recording career highs with 493 kills and a .213 hitting percentage. She led the Big Ten with 4.32 kills per set that season.
Pritchard made an immediate impact as a freshman in 2017, leading the Big Ten with 48 service aces and averaging 0.42 aces per set.

League One Volleyball (LOVB) is a professional women's volleyball league that launched in 2025, bringing many of the world's top players back to compete in the United States. The league currently includes teams in Atlanta, Austin, Houston, Madison, Nebraska and Salt Lake, with additional expansion franchises set to join in the 2026-27 season.
