Jap sat out last season with a knee injury but should be ready for the 1973-74 year. He should be a frequent' starter at a wing position. Jap is an outstanding defensive player with quickness and jumping ability. He also has an excellent reputation as a one-on-one player. In both his freshman and sophomore years, he averaged over 52 percent shooting and had a 20 point average as a frosh. Jap was a high school All-American. He is a sociology major and wants to become an FBI agent upon graduation.
