Adaeze Alaeze-Garbo serves as the Director of Student-Athlete Development at the University of Maryland, where she supports career readiness, leadership development, and experiential learning initiatives.
A Baltimore native, she earned her bachelor's degree in Accounting and master's degree in Sport Leadership from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU). A former Division I student-athlete, she also played professional basketball in Spain and represented the Nigerian Senior Women's National Basketball Team.
Passionate about creating transformational experiences, Alaeze-Garbo is committed to helping student-athletes recognize their value beyond sport and develop the confidence, skills, and networks needed for lifelong success.
