BURLACE'S HONOR ROLL:
  • 2x (2023 & 2024) Academic All-Big Ten
As a Senior in 2025:
  • Part of defensive effort that held Richmond scoreless for entire first half (2/1)
  • Team-high two CT as part of defense that held Loyola (2/8) to just seven goals for second straight game
  • Part of holding #2 Syracuse to seven goals, 11 below their average (2/15)
  • Helped hold the Irish to their lowest goal total since April 30, 2023
  • Held #5 Princeton's Colin Burns to one goal (2/22), helped hold the Tigers overall to single-digits for fourth straight game
  • One GB and one CT in 11-10 win over #1 Notre Dame (3/1)
  • One CT vs. Delaware (3/8), helped hold them to just three goals
  • One CT in 12-6 win at #18 Virginia (3/15), helping hold the Cavaliers to six goals below their season scoring average
  • Helped the Terps hold the Wolverines scoreless for 29:38 in 11-10 3OT loss to Michigan (3/22)

• Appeared in all 17 games and started 16 at close defense

• Four games with multiple caused turnovers
• Had first career multi-point game vs. Virginia in NCAA Semifinals (5/25) to go along with four groundballs and two caused turnovers

As a Sophomore in 2023:
• Started all 16 games at close defense. 
• Finished with 23 GBs (tied for eighth on the team) and 11 CT (tied for fourth on the team). 

As a Freshman in 2022:
• Played in 13 games with three caused turnovers and three groundballs. 
• Picked up a ground ball and forced two turnovers to help defeat Albany (3/12).

Before Maryland:
• Four-star prospect via Inside Lacrosse.
• 2021 Team MVP.
• 2021 MIAA All-Conference First Team.
• 2021 First Team All-State.
• 2021 First Team All county.
• 2021 VSN Defensive Player of the Year.
• 2021 US Lacrosse All American.
• 2021 Under Armour Senior All American.  

Personal:
• Son of Brian and Stephanie Burlace.
• Has three siblings BJ, Gavin and Rayne.
• Father Brian was a two-time All-American at Maryland from 1989-92 and was named the Schmeisser Memorial Cup honoree as nation’s outstanding defenseman in 1992.
• Brother BJ also plays lacrosse at Maryland.
• Sports Hero is Ray Lewis.
• Hobbies include playing Xbox.

Why Maryland?: “My family has a tradition at Maryland. I’ve always looked up to relatives and family friends that have attended the school and have loved it. Also, having a brother on the team showed me the brotherhood that this team has."
