As a sophomore (2021): Played in seven games as a reserve defenseman…made season debut vs. Michigan (2/20)…played in first career NCAA Tournament game in win over Vermont (5/16).

As a freshman (2020): Appeared in one game, making career debut in win over High Point (2/1).

Before Maryland: Lettered two seasons at Landon…caused 27 turnovers, scooped 24 ground balls and scored a goal as a senior…2nd Team All-Met selection…named Landon’s MVP…played club lacrosse for Next Level…

Personal: Son of Gregory and Siobhan Kopp…has three siblings – Emily (also a UMD student), Nicholas and Mackenzie…lists most interesting accomplishment as achieving Eagle Scout distinction…sports hero is Ray Lewis…chose Maryland for the education and athletic opportunities…Majoring in mechanical engineering
