As a Freshman (2019-20): Wrestled in open competition at 133/141 pounds, earning a 3-6 record...debuted at the Southeast Open and earned a win over VMI’s Sean McKinney (11/3)...earned two wins at the Wolfpack Open over Campbell’s Kyle Sams and George Mason’s Shawn Nonaka (11/17)...wrestled at the Edinboro Open (2/1)

Before Maryland: Individually placed in the top three at the Colorado State wrestling tournament three years in a row, finished second senior year.

Personal: Son of Doyle and Lisa Rhona...first of his family to compete at the collegiate level...plans on becoming a marine biologist
