As a Freshman (2019-20): Earned Maryland’s starting spot at 149 pounds in the second half of the season, appearing in five dual lineups...opened the season with a fourth-place finish at the Southeast Open, earning victories over VMI’s Seth Fillers and West Virginia’s Liam Lusher (11/3)...posted a win over North Carolina’s Charley Barry at the F&M Open (1/4)...made his debut in the dual lineup vs. Ohio State’s Sammy Sasso (1/31)...represented Maryland at the Big Ten Championships (3/7)

Before Maryland: Obtained a 226-13 record in high school, the Massachuesetts state record for most wins… tied the state pin record with 153 … three-time Division 1 state champion … NHSCA All-American ...Disney Duals All-American

Personal: Son of Robert and Lisa Garlitz … part of National Honor Society in high school… hobbies include watching the Patriots, Red Sox, Celtics and Bruins
