Storyline

Maryland plays host to Wake Forest in the middle of a three-game homestand that will see the Terps pass the midway mark of the ACC regular season. The Terps defeated the Demon Deacons 74-55 in Winston-Salem on Jan. 12, led by Cliff Tucker's 21 points and Jordan Williams' 13 points and 15 rebounds.

After Wednesday's loss to Duke, Maryland is in a tie for fifth place in the ACC with a 4-4 record. The Terps have won three of their four ACC games on the road this season but are just 1-3 at home in conference games. Following Saturday's game with Wake Forest, Maryland plays its final non-conference game of the regular season against Longwood on Wednesday and then hits the road for two games.

Sophomore center Jordan Williams continued to lead Maryland offensively and on the boards with 20 points and 10 rebounds against Duke, his NCAA-leading 19th double-double of the year. Williams has 260 rebounds this season, the sixth most by a sophomore in school history, and his 11.8 rpg leads the ACC and is third nationally. Although Williams is hitting just .542 of his free throws on the season, he made 12 of 16 on Wednesday.

Adrian Bowie bounced back from an off-night against Georgia Tech with a solid performance against the Blue Devils, posting 11 points, five assists and four rebounds. The senior has scored in double figures in six of the past seven and nine of the last 11 games.

Gary Williams' next victory will be his 664th overall in 33 seasons. tying him with the legendary John Wooden in all-time wins..
