Terps Set for Red & Black Wrestle-Offs

COLLEGE PARK, Md -- The Maryland wrestling team will hold the annual Red & Black Wrestle-Offs Sunday at Comcast Pavilion. The event begins at noon.
The Wrestle-Offs will help determine the Terps initial starters for the Terrapin Duals, which take place Sunday, Nov. 4. The Terrapins are coming off a 14-8 campaign with a third place finish in the ACC Championships.
Senior Jimmy Sheptock is among the Terps expected to make noise nationally this season. The 184-pounder is a consensus top-five ranked competitor in the preseason and will try to improve on his All-American campaign.
Christian Boley, Geoffrey Alexander and Spencer Myers all appeared in various preseason rankings. All three have previously qualified for NCAA Championships and Boley and Myers both have ACC titles on their resumes.
