COLLEGE PARK, Md. -- The Maryland wrestling team (1-1, 0-0 B1G) returns to dual competition this weekend, traveling to in-state foe Navy Friday night at 7:30 p.m., then making its Big Ten dual debut at Rutgers Saturday evening at 7 p.m.. Friday night's match at Navy will be streamed free on the
Patriot League Network, while Saturday's Big Ten opener will be available on
BTN Plus ($).
Parking information for fans traveling to Navy
• A reminder that vehicular access to the Naval Academy is limited to those drivers with a Department of Defense identification card.
• It is suggested that fans park at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium ($5 per vehicle) and ride the FREE shuttle bus to and from the match.
• Buses will run every 15 minutes starting one hour before the match and will continue running throughout the event.
• Note that a government issued identification card must be carried and presented by visitors to the USNA prior to being allowed onto The Yard.
• Fans may also park outside of the Naval Academy grounds and walk on with proper identification.

Navy (2-2, 0-0 EIWA) opened its season with a 25-9 victory over Fresno State on Nov. 1, before dropping a 24-12 match to Wisconsin. Navy also has a win over California Baptist (27-9) and a loss to then top-ranked Penn State (45-0). Navy's Tanner Skidgel (165) is 5-3 on the season and ranked #9 by Intermat, while Spencer Carey (174) stands 17th via Intermat with a 6-3 season record. Navy leads the all-time series against Maryland, 56-11-3, including wins in each of the last seven meetings.
Rutgers (5-0, 0-0 B1G) has notched wins over LIU, Pitt-Johnstown, Centenary, Fresno State, and CSU Bakersfield so far in their undefeated dual schedule. In their last time out, the Scarlet Knights finished fifth at the Navy Classic on Nov. 23 in Annapolis, Md. Nicolas Aguilar (125) and Jordan Pagano (197) both claimed individual titles. Rutgers features four wrestlers in the latest individual rankings from Intermat - No. 12 Nicolas Aguilar (125), No. 19 Sammy Alvarez (133), No. 18 Joseph Grello (174) and No. 14 Jordan Pagano (197).
