COLLEGE PARK, Md. – The Maryland men's golf team will travel to Puerto Rico this weekend to play in the Puerto Rico Classic at the Rio Mar Beach and Spa Resort's River Course.
The 54-hole event begins Sunday with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. ET and will play 18 holes every day, concluding on Tuesday, with a 7:30 a.m. start. Live scoring will be available

The Terrapins are competing against No. 4 Georgia, No. 5 Alabama, No. 12 Clemson, No. 13 Oklahoma, No. 21 Georgia, No. 28 NC State, No. 31 Marquette, No. 40 Iowa, No. 56 Ohio State, UNC Greensboro, East Carolina, Virginia Tech, Middle Tennessee State and tournament-host Purdue.

The Terrapins finished second out of 14 conference teams in the Big Ten Match Play event last weekend in Hammock Beach, Fla. The Terrapins earned their best-ever finish in the event.
