ROSEMONT, Ill. – 108 student-athletes from the University of Maryland were named Spring Academic All-Big Ten selections by the conference on Wednesday.
The Terps are represented by baseball (11), men's lacrosse (17), men's golf (4), men's track & field (8), softball (10), women's golf (6), women's lacrosse (22), women's tennis (6) and women's track & field (24). The 108 student-athletes recognized this spring is up are the most ever, surpassing the previous high of 80 in 2017.
To be eligible for Academic All-Big Ten selection, students must be letterwinners who are in at least their second academic year at their institution and carry a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or higher.
Sarah Daniels (women's track & field) and William Koras  (men's golf) earned a perfect 4.0 GPA in the 2019-20 academic year.Â
