COLLEGE PARK, Md. – The University of Maryland wrestling team heads down to the 2022 Virginia Duals for a trio of duals over the weekend in Hampton, Virginia.  

Action begins on Friday January 14 as the Terps first take on Kent State at 1 PM before facing Chattanooga at 3 PM. The wrestling comes to an end on Saturday January 15 at 6 PM as Maryland faces Oklahoma. The Terps were also set to face the Penn Quakers, but they will not compete at the event due to university COVID-19 guidelines. 

Maryland boasts a trio of ranked upperweights: No.12 Kyle Cochran, No.31 Jaron Smith, and No.26 Zach Schrader. All three have potential ranked bouts against No.21 Oklahoma's ranked upperweights.
