
Maryland Prepares To Take On Virginia

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA - The Maryland men's golf team will return to the links for the first time in three weeks to compete in the inaugural Lewis Chitengwa Memorial Golf Tournament. This will be the fourth tournament of the spring season.
Over the two-day tournament (Apr. 11-2), players will play at 7,058 yards on the par-71 Birdwood Golf Course at Boar's Head Resort, home of Virginia men's and women's golf teams.
Head coach Jason Rodenhaver will start Dillon Brown, Chris Tanabe, Florian Huerlimann, Dhaivat Pandya, and Will Koras for the Terrapins.
Other teams participating in the Memorial include host Virginia, Charlotte, Coastal Carolina, East Carolina, Kentucky, Liberty, Loyola (MD.), North Florida, St. Mary's, Tennessee, Texas State, and Virginia Tech.
The tournament will consist of three rounds of play (54 holes - day one consisting of 36-holes and day two consisting of 18-holes) in a shotgun format beginning at 8:45 a.m. You can follow the on-course action here.
