COLLEGE PARK, Md. – The top-seeded Maryland men's lacrosse team begins postseason play as they welcome three-seed Johns Hopkins to Maryland Stadium for a Thursday night game on Big Ten Network.
This is the 117th meeting between the two programs since Maryland became a varsity team after 1923. The Terps are going for a fifth-straight victory over Hopkins after three wins last season and another on April 23 this season. That would be the longest streak for Maryland ever against Hopkins.

Playoff push
- The Terps gunning for a second straight Big Ten Tournament championship and NCAA Finals appearance.
- Throughout program history, Maryland has won seven conference tournaments . Four came in the ACC and three in the Big Ten.
- In the Big Ten Tournament, Maryland is 7-3 with three tournament titles in four finals appearances.
- Maryland has only once hosted the Big Ten Tournament previously, that came in 2015. The Terps lost 6-9 to Ohio State.

Fifth-year senior Logan Wisnauskas has established himself as one of the most dangerous offensive players in college lacrosse during his career with the Terps, and now leads the Maryland in his final year with the program. Here's a look at Wisnauskas by the numbers.
1 - Wearing the iconic "1" jersey, Wisnauskas averages more assists per game (2.50) and points per game (5.83) while wearing the jersey than any other to wearing the number for Maryland.
3 - Wisnauskas (307) is third on the active list of D1 players in points, 88 behind the active leader in Chris Gray of North Carolina (395)
5 – Wisnauskas (184) is third on the active list of D1 players in goals, 16 behind the active leader in Gray of North Carolina (201)

- Maryland dominated the Big Ten Yearly Honors with four of the five yearly awards going to the Terps. Plus, the maximum of eight players found themselves on the All-Big Ten teams, including five on the top line. Those were all program record numbers.
- Among the yearly awards, Logan Wisnauskas was Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year, Brett Makar was Big Ten Defenive Player of the Year, Luke Wierman was Specialist of the Year, and Coach Tillman was unanimously Big Ten Coach of the Year.
- The First Team All-Big Ten featured Wisnauskas, Makar, Wierman, Keegan Khan, and Roman Puglise. On the second team was Jon Donville, Kyle Long, and John Geppert. With only eight players allowed per team, the Terps earned the maximum number of spots
WHAT does it take to be #1?
- Maryland was ranked No. 1 in the country in both the USILA Coaches Poll and the Inside Lacrosse Media Poll this week for the eleventh straight week. This was their fifth week as the unanimous selection.
- The Terps have been tabbed No. 1 in at least one of the polls at some point during the year in four of the last six seasons.

- Maryland has won 38 consecutive games when allowing an opponent under 10 goals dating back to the 2017 National Championship season.
- The Terps' defense held opponents to 10 or fewer goals in eight of their twelve games this season. The stellar defense comes alongside a squad that has forced 104 turnovers.
- Logan Wisnauskas has started 69 consecutive games and recorded a point in all 69. He has multiple points in his last 53 games.
- Maryland was won 24 consecutive regular season games dating back to Feb. 18, 2020.
- A Terp has record a hat trick in 51 straight games dating back to May 26, 2018.
