- Maryland is coming off a 3-1 weekend match-up after hosting the Maryland Softball Tournament. Maryland would pick up wins over Purdue Fort Wayne, Fairfield, and Lafayette and their lone loss in the tournament would be to Bryant.
- On Friday, Maryland would defeat Purdue Fort Wayne 8-0 in 5 innings. Jaeda McFarland and Delaney Reefe launched home runs to center field to help the Terps defeat PFW. Courtney Wyche pitched her 11th shutout and 39th complete game of her career. She allowed just one hit and struck out three batters.
- On Sunday, Maryland would defeat Fairfield 10-2 and Lafayette 8-0. Against Fairfield, Sydney Lewis, Hannah Runk, and Diamond Williams would all hit home runs to capture the third win of the weekend. Courtney Wyche would pitch another dominate game as she struck out a season-high 11 batters.
- Led by strong performances from Diamond Williams and Genevieve Ebaugh Maryland defeated Lafayette 8-0 during the final game of the tournament. Williams would finish the game going 3-for-4 with three RBIs and a home run. Ebaugh would pitch her second career shutout and three career complete game.

- Coastal Carolina transfer Diamond Williams continues to make her impact on this Maryland team. Diamond has started in all 26 games at first base. She leads the team in home runs with nine and RBIs with 25.
- On Saturday, against Bryant Diamond finished 2-for-3 with three RBIs and a HR in the first inning.
- On Sunday, in game one during Fairfield Diamond would go 2-for-3 with a double and a HR to help the Terps defeat Fairfield.
- In game 2, Diamond would continue her stand out performance at the plate. Against Lafayette, Williams would finish the game going 3-for-4 with three RBIs and hit her ninth home run of the season.
- Williams would wrap up the weekend going 8-13 with three home runs and eight RBIs over the three-day tournament.

- Bri Godfrey (Deerfield Beach, Florida / Marshall) joins the Terrapins after playing her freshman season at Marshall. - Graduate student Courtney Wyche has been a consistent threat in the circle this year for the Terps. She is currently 6-5 and leads the team with a 2.09 ERA. Wyche also leads the team in strikeouts with 77. Opponents are hitting just .143 when Wyche is in the circle
- Against No. 25 Oregon, Wyche had a dominant performance with helped Maryland upset the ranked Ducks. Courtney went the distance for her 37th complete game while allowing just four hits and zero runs to secure the win. It was the 10th shutout of her career and the 37th time in program history that Maryland has defeated a ranked opponent.
- Wyche is currently in fifth place in career strikeouts with 502. She became one of our five players to notch 500 in a career. She is sixth in career wins with 47 only 12 wins behind moving into third place. Lastly, she has pitched 516.2 innings in her career only 62 innings away from moving into fifth place.
- Genevieve Ebaugh has been another strong arm for Maryland. After missing her freshman season due to an injury she picked up her first college win on February 24 against Green Bay. She pitched her first career complete game only allowing one run on three hits and striking out six batters. She currently has the second best ERA on the team with a 2.42 and has only given up nine earned runs in 26 innings.
Courtney Wyche just became the fifth player in school history to record 500 career strikeouts.
