Maryland at UCF Black and Gold Challenge
COLLEGE PARK, MD - The Maryland Terrapins track and field team is set to travel to Orlando this Friday and Saturday to compete in the UCF Black and Gold Challenge. - The Terps will close out the month of March on the 28th at the Navy Outdoor Invitational in Annapolis.
- On April 3rd and 4th the team will head to Gainesville to compete in the Florida Relays.
LAST TIME OUT: long beach opener
- Morgan Graham recorded a distance of 62.27 meters in the event to finish in second place overall.
- In the javelin throw Evelyn VanZwieten finished in sixth place with a toss of 40.77 meters.
- Andrew Harmon reached a distance of 60.55 meters in the hammer throw to finish ninth overall in the event.
- Roman Spikes posted a time of 10.44 seconds to finish fourth overall on the day in the 100 meters.
- The Men's 4x100 team consisting of Sam Ford, Gabe Levrone, Roman Spikes and Tanner Leach turned in a first place performance in the event at a time of 40.93 seconds.
- Justin DeVaughn secured a second-place finish in the 110m hurdles after recording a time of 14.36 seconds.
- Rhys Allen and Ella O'Neall both placed second in the men's and women's shot put. Allen reached a distance of 17.13 meters and O'Neall hit a mark of 14.61 meters.
- Jennessa Wolfe logged a first place finish in the high jump at a distance of 1.75 meters.
