COLLEGE PARK, MD - The Maryland Terrapins track and field team is set to compete in the JMU Invite and the Bison Outdoor Classic this weekend. The JMU Invite will take place Saturday, beginning at 10 a.m., The Bison Outdoor Classic is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. on both Saturday and Sunday.

This weekend's meets mark the Terrapins track and field team's second and third competitions of the month, as the Terrapins are scheduled to compete in five meets overall.
The Terps' will round out the month with trips to the Virginia Challenge (April 17–18) and the Penn Relays (April 23–25).

Evelyn VanZwieten at a distance of 43.50 meters set a new second best all-time program mark in the women's javelin.
Fin Essley climbed to second all-time in program history in the hammer throw at a personal-best mark of 61.02 meters.
In the men's 4x100 meters Gabe Levrone, Mykel Morman, Sam Ford, and Roman Spikes set a new sixth best all-time mark in the 4x100 meters at a time of 40.31 seconds.
Eva Rogers set a new eighth best all-time mark at a time of 4:22.92 in the 1,500 meters.
Annika Metzger finished first overall in the 1,500 meters with a commanding season-best time of 4:30.56 seconds.
Jennessa Wolfe took first overall in the women's high jump at a mark of 1.76 meters.
Joe Garzio moved into sixth all-time for the Terps in the 800m, clocking a time of 1:49.45.
Roman Spikes set a new seventh best all-time mark at a time of 10.42 seconds in the 100 meters.
Rhys Allen finished in eighth place overall discus throw invite at a distance of 53.44 meters.
