COLLEGE PARK, MD -- Maryland hosts UCLA on Saturday as part of Family Weekend in a game that will air on BTN at 1:30 PM and the Maryland Sports Radio Network. This is the first time the Terrapins have hosted the Bruins since 1955. That game took place almost exactly 71 years ago, when No. 6 Maryland defeated No. 1 UCLA, 7-0, in College Park on Sept. 24, 1955.

Maryland Football and DC Comics present Superhero Day! A game focused especially around Young Terps, fans can enjoy superhero appearances on the concourse, and the first 1,000 kids will receive Maryland Football Superman capes! Additionally, the first 7,500 fans at the game will receive a Testudo-Superman commemorative poster.

This game also serves as the annual Mental Health Awareness game, where Maryland Athletics strives to break the stigma around mental health and promote research and resources.

Maryland's offense has ranked among the top four in the Big Ten in passing yards per game in each of the last five seasons. The Terps ranked fourth in the league in passing yards per game last season (255.7) and led the Big Ten in the category in 2023 at 278.9 yards per game through the air.
Maryland is one of five FBS teams yet to commit a turnover this season (Louisville, Notre Dame, Penn State, South Alabama). It is the second time this century the Terrapins have started a season without a giveaway in their first three games (also: 2016).
Maryland is one of eight FBS teams with three players who already have at least 100 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns this year (one of three in the Big Ten with Iowa & UCLA).

Maryland's 126 points through three games is the second most in school history.

durr's career night

Wide receiver Chris Durr Jr., established career-highs with 12 receptions and two touchdowns, along with his second 100-yard game in a row with 109 yards against Virginia Tech (9/19). He also surpassed 1,000 career receiving yards in the game.
He became the only Maryland player this century to record consecutive 10-catch games.
Durr joined Buffalo Bills star WR D.J. Moore (12-210, 2TD) and two-time Super Bowl champion Torrey Smith (14-224, 4TD) as the only Terps in the past 30 seasons with at least 12 catches, 100 receiving yards and two touchdowns in a game.
He also has at least 100 yards receiving and a touchdown in each of his last two games. The only other Terps players to do that this century are Vernon Davis (2005), Torrey Smith (2010), Stefon Diggs (2013), Dontay Demus Jr. (2021) and Tai Felton (2024).
He is the only Maryland player since 1996 to have 10+ receptions in consecutive games and is just the fourth Terrapin over the last 30 seasons to record 6+ receptions in 3+ straight games to begin a season joining D.J. Moore (2017), Dontay Demus (2021) and Tai Felton (2024).
Durr Jr. is the first Big Ten player to record double-digit catches in multiple games this season.
The only other Maryland player this century with 10 catches in two games for an entire season was Tai Felton in 2024. The last Big Ten player with a longer streak of double-digit reception games was Purdue's Charlie Jones in 2022 (three).
Durr Jr. is the ninth Big Ten player since 1996 to have 10+ receptions and 1+ rec TD in consecutive games.
He is the third Maryland player over the last 30 seasons with 12+ rec., 100+ rec. yards and 2+ rec. TD in a game.

Washington threw for 359 yards and three touchdowns against Virginia Tech.
He became Maryland's first quarterback with consecutive 300-yard passing games since Taulia Tagovailoa in 2022.
His 359 yards were the second-most in a game and marked his third career game with three touchdown passes.

Pass catchers reach new heights

Dorian Fleming surpassed 1,000 career receiving yards on six catches for 72 yards with his first touchdown of the season against Virginia Tech (9/19). He joined Chris Durr Jr., in reaching 1,000 yards against the Hokies.
He becomes just the fifth Maryland tight end in the last 30 seasons to record nine games with three or more receptions.
Kaleb Webb set a career high with 98 receiving yards on five catches, including a 44-yard reception that set up Maryland's first touchdown vs. Virginia Tech.
Na'eem Abdul-Rahim Gladding added a career-long 43-yard reception in the fourth quarter of the Virginia Tech game. He now has a catch in 16 consecutive games dating to the first game of the 2025 season.
