As a graduate (2022):  Finished season with 28 GB and 16 CT...Forced 4 turnovers to help defeat Albany (3/12)... 1 goal in win over #2 Virginia (3/19)... Picked up 2 ground balls and forced 2 turnovers to help defeat Penn State (3/27)... Forced 1 turnover and picked up 4 ground balls in Terps' win over Michigan (4/2)... Picked up 1 ground ball in victory against #4 Rutgers (4/10)... 1 ground ball pickup and 1 forced turnover in win against #9 Ohio State (4/17)...Three ground ball pickups and one forced turnover in win over Johns Hopkins (4/23)...Three ground ball pickups to help defeat Rutgers and clinch the Big Ten Tournament (5/7)...Snagged five groundballs against Vermont (5/15)...Grabbed two groundballs against Virginia (5/22)...One GB in semifinals victory over Princeton (5/28) and title game victory over Cornell (5/30)...

As a senior (2021): Started in all 16 games at close defense…tied for second on the team in caused turnovers (17)…recorded 24 ground balls…had six multi-caused turnover games…posted an assts in win over Rutgers (3/13)…had season-highs in caused turnovers (3) and ground balls (5) in NCAA Semifinal win over Duke (5/29).

As a junior (2020): Played in five of six games, making one start vs. Albany…scooped eight ground balls…grabbed two ground ball and took two shots vs. High Point (2/1)…scored a goal and picked up two ground balls vs. Penn (2/15)…Had a shot and a ground ball at Villanova (2/18)…Big Ten Defensive Playe of the Week (2/18)…had a ground ball and caused turnover vs. Notre Dame (2/29)…recorded two ground balls vs. Albany (3/7).

As a sophomore (2019): Carved out role at LSM in second collegiate season, playing in all 17 games while making one start...recorded 22 ground balls, six caused turnovers, two goals and an assist...scooped season-high four ground balls vs. Richmond (2/9)...caused turnover vs. Penn (2/16)...picked up two ground balls at Navy (2/23)...caused a turnover and grabbed a ground ball at #17 Notre Dame (3/3)...recorded three ground balls vs. North Carolina (3/23)...notched first career goal and assist in win over Michigan (4/6)..caused two turnovers at #9 Ohio State (4/20)...scored a goal, caused two turnovers and snagged two ground balls vs. sixth-seeded Towson in NCAA First Round (5/12)...tallied three ground balls in NCAA Quarterfinals vs. Virginia (5/18).

As a freshman (2018): Appeared in four games as a reserve defender ... made collegiate debut against Navy (2/10) ... appeared in both the NCAA First Round vs. Robert Morris (5/13) and NCAA Quarters vs. Cornell (5/20).

Before Maryland: A two-time team captain … US Lacrosse All-American as a senior … two-time First Team All-State and All-Inter-AC … also the captain and team MVP for the football team as a senior … played club lacrosse for Twist Lacrosse.

Personal: Full name is Matthew Eugene Rahill … son of Gerald and Dina Rahill … pretended to be Tom Brady as a kid … list his father as his hero.
