As a Senior (2013): Received The George C. Cook Memorial Award for the senior with the highest academic average and The Dr. John E. Faber Award for Iron Man, at the team banquet ... appeared in the Terps’ season-opening win over FIU (8/31) ... named scout team player of the week three times: FIU (Offense, 8/31), Boston College (Defense, 11/23) and NC State (Special Teams, 11/30).

As a Junior (2012): Made his first collegiate appearance against North Carolina (11/24) and made one solo tackle … also part of the travel roster for the Clemson (11/10) game … named the scout team player of the week three times for his efforts in preparation for the Wake Forest (10/6), Georgia Tech (11/3) and Clemson (11/10) games.

At Marriotts Ridge High School: Played running back, wide receiver, and defensive back for the Mustangs … coached by Kenneth Hovet.

Personal: Born in Baltimore, Md. … parents are Randy and Lori Perry … sports hero is Wes Welker … hobbies are weight training, watching football and soccer, videogames, and spending time with friends and family … future career plans include becoming a strength and conditioning coach … graduated high school with a 3.7 GPA and was a member of the honor roll all four years … majoring in kinesiology … joined the team in the spring of 2012 … matriculated to Maryland in the spring of 2010 after spending one semester at Fairmont State … did not play football for the Falcons.
