As a Sophomore (2013): Appeared in 13 games and started three ... tallied four tackles against Clemson (10/26) including his first career sack ... had a career-high six tackles against Syracuse (11/9) ... notched three stops and a TFL against Boston College (11/23) ... recorded five stops and a sack against NC State (11/30).
As a Freshman (2012): Started the season as a scout-team linebacker but was pressed into duty at quarterback after a rash of injuries at that position … saw his first collegiate action and made his first career start against Georgia Tech (11/3) … finished 9-of-18 for 115 yards and two touchdowns as well as 24 yards rushing against the Yellow Jackets … started against Clemson (11/10) finishing 6-of-12 for 41 yards and a touchdown … went 8-of-19 for 136 yards and two touchdowns against Florida State (11/17) … went 16-of-35 for 208 yards and a touchdown against North Carolina (11/24) … his 16 completions and 208 yards passing against North Carolina wer season highs … added 20 yards rushing and his first career rushing touchdown against North Carolina as well.
At Eleanor Roosevelt: Played quarterback and linebacker for the Raiders … finished 2011 season as a first team all-county selection … earned all-state and all metro honors as a senior … helped lead team to a 10-1 record in senior season … also recruited by Howard … coached by Tom Green.
