• One groundball against Michigan (4/1).
• Appeared in five games: Richmond (2/04), Albany (3/11), Michigan (4/01), Rutgers (4/16) and Johns Hopkins (5/04).
As a senior in 2022:
• Played in opener vs. High Point (2/5) before suffering season-ending injury.
As a junior in 2021:
• Played in 11 games as a midfielder.
• Made the switch to SSDM late in the season
• Saw time in NCAA Tournament wins over Vermont (5/16) and Duke (5/29).
• Earned first postseason experience playing in both Big Ten Tournament games.
• Scored a goal in the season opener vs. Michigan (2/20).
As a sophomore in 2020:
• Played in three games.
• Scored first career goal and grabbed a groundball in win over High Point (2/1).
As a freshman in 2019:
• Played in three games during first season.
• Took two shots vs. Villanova (3/16).
Before Maryland:
• Graduated from Severna Park High School with classmate Joshua Coffman.
• Named All-American in 2018.
• First team all-county in 2017 and 2018.
• Won three state championships as a member of the Severna Park High School team (2016, 2017, 2018).
• Was named captain in his senior season (2018).
• Had 43 goals and 18 assists in his senior season.
Personal:
• Son of Steve and Tammy Cope.
• Has two younger siblings, Ganon and Devyn.
• Came to Maryland for the coaches and academics.
• Models his game after Paul Rabil.
• Also recruited by Maryland, Navy, Penn State, Georgetown and Rutgers.
• Hobbies include boating and fishing.
