Biography

As a grad student in 2023: 
  • Appeared in all 16 games as key piece of SSDM rotation.
  • One caused turnover in 14-11 win vs. Rutgers (4/29)
  • One groundball and one caused turnover in 12-11 OT win at #19 Ohio State (4/7).
  • Helped hold the Buckeyes scoreless for final 17:16.
  • First point as a Terp with an assist in 13-10 win over #9 Penn State (3/25).
  • Also had one groundball vs. the Nittany Lions.

  • Helped hold the Nittany Lions scoreless for 26:24, spanning the third and fourth quarters.
  • One groundball in 15-12 win over #16 Syracuse (2/18).
  • One groundball and a caused turnover at Loyola (2/11).
  • Made his Terrapin debut in 15-4 wn over #19 Richmond (2/4).
  • Helped the Terps hold the Spiders scoreless for 41:31, spanning the first and fourth quarters.
As a senior in 2022 (at Sacred Heart):

As a junior in 2021 (at Sacred Heart):

  • Appeared in all 13 games in the midfield, making 11 starts.

  • Led the team in caused turnovers with 14. 
  • Set a season-best three caused turnovers against LIU (2/24). 
  • Second on the team with 42 ground balls and matched his career-high of five on three occasions. 

As a sophomore in 2020 (at Sacred Heart): 
  • Appeared in five games and started in three for the Pioneers in COVID-shortened year
  • Recorded two goals, eight ground balls and six caused turnovers
  • Was second on the team in caused turnovers (6)
  • A regular in the face-off unit as he registered one ground ball in four of his five appearances.

As a freshman in 2019 (at Sacred Heart):
  • College Crosse All-Freshmen Third Team selection as a defensive midfielder
  • Appeared in 14 games for the Pioneers
  • Finished his rookie season with six points on four goals and two assists while adding 32 ground balls and 13 caused turnovers in 2019
  • Lacey's production peaked down the stretch as he posted a season-high five ground balls in consecutive games to end the season
  • Used frequently in the faceoff midfield unit, Lacey scooped up at least one ground ball in 13-of-14 appearances
