Biography

• Comes to Maryland with 144 career points on 78 goals and 66 assists in 42 career games at Division III Bowdoin. 

As a grad student in 2023:
• Appeared in four games: Richmond (2/04), Loyola (2/11), Albany (3/11) and Michigan (4/01).

As a senior in 2022 (at Bowdoin): 
• 
USILA Division III Second-Team All-American.
• NESCAC Player of the Year
• All-NESCAC First Team.
• NEILA All-New England First Team.
• Helped Bowdoin to NCAA Division III Quarterfinals.
• Started all 16 games.
• Third in the nation in points per game with 6.56 per game and 14th in goals per game (3.69).
• Piled up 105 points (11th in Division III)  on 59 goals (17th in nation) and 46 assists (17th in nation).
• Career-best 12 points on six goals and six assists against Connecticut College (4/23).
• Recorded 11 points on career-high eight goals and three assists against Clark (4/20).
• Posted a hat trick in 10 of 16 games
• Registered five or more points on 14 occasions.
• Had five goals in five games: at Hamilton (3/14), Williams (3/19), at Babson (3/30), Amherst (4/2) and at Tufts (4/27). 

As a junior in 2020 (at Bowdoin):
• Started all three games he played prior to COVID shutdown.
• Scored three goals and added four assists for seven points.
• Season-best three points vs. Middlebury (2/29) and season-high two goals vs. Babson (3/11). 

As a sophomore in 2019 (at Bowdoin):
• 
Played in 10 games with eight starts.
• Recorded 16 points on seven goals and nine assists.
• Season-best four points on two goals and two assists at Trinity (3/30).
• Also scored two goals against Bates (4/3).
• Season-best three assists vs. Wesleyan (4/13). 

As a freshman in 2018 (at Bowdoin):
• 
Played in 13 gams with one start.
• Had 16 points on nine goals and seven assists.
• First points came in five-point game on three goals and two assists vs. New England (3/20)
• Also had hat trick vs. Clark (3/27).
• Three points on a goal and two assists vs. Middlebury (3/24).

• Son of Catherine McCarthy and Hugh Mullane.
• Brother, Hugh Mullane, plays lacrosse at of Pennsylvania and brother, Michael Mullane, attends Washington and Lee.  
• Earned B.A. in Government and Legal Studies from Bowdoin in 2022.
• Pursuing Master's of Professional Studies: Public Safety Leadership and Administration at Maryland.
