As a freshman (2017): Appeared in 12 games for 2017 National Champions ... earned a spot on the second midfield line late in the season ... made collegiate debut vs. St. Joseph's (2/14).
Before Maryland: Totaled 20 goals and 21 assists during his senior season (2016) … made honor roll in all four years of high school tenure … played club lacrosse for Looney's Lacrosse Club for coach Kevin Doyle.
Personal: Full name is Ethan Samuel Mintzer … son of Sam and Kelly Mintzer … brother of Justin … grandfather, David, was a member of the 1967 National Championship lacrosse team at Maryland ... also recruited by North Carolina, High Point and Ohio State … had a 3.9 GPA in high school.
