Before Maryland: A five-star recruit out of Coronado, California...Two-time US Lacrosse All-American...Three-time CIF first team...Three-time First Team All-City League....Second in the state of California in all-time career points.
Personal: Son of Thomas and Nicole DeMaio...older brother Anthony plays attack for Maryland...has four younger siblings, Mackenzie, Camden, Sydney and Ruby...Sports hero is Tom Brady...in addition to lacrosse, played hockey growing up...pregame superstition is wearing the same wrist band...if he could play another sport at Maryland, would play basketball.
