Before Maryland: Rated the 35th overall defenseman in the Class of 2016 by Inside Lacrosse … four-year letterwinner and two-time captain ... helped lead Gonzaga to multiple WCAC Championships … named 2015 Second-Team WCAC and 2016 Honorable Mention WCAC ... also a four-year letterwinner in hockey … played club lacrosse for Blackwolf Lacrosse from 2013-15 for coach Joe Trigiana.

Personal: Full name is Henry Costello Chastain … Son of Jerry and Jennifer Chastain … brother of Robert, who played lacrosse at Limestone (2011-15), and William, who played lacrosse at Belmont Abbey (2013-15) … sports hero is former Terrapin Lee Zink … was also recruited by Ohio State and Penn State … wants to work on Wall Street one day … diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis during infancy.

Reason for coming to Maryland: For the academics and prominent lacrosse program.
