Before Maryland: Attended and wrestled at Poquoson HS...Helped the Bulls to three state championships (2018-2020 2A Virginia State)...Earned a career record of 155-12 at Poquoson...Was a 3A Virginia Region Champ and earned third place in states in 2017...Was a 2A Virginia Region and State Champion in 2018, 2019 and 2020...Also wrestled for the Peninsula Wrestling Association
Personal: Son of Michael and Carrie McCormick...father wrestled at University of Virginia, while mother was a cheerleader at Maryland...has two brothers, Patrick and Ryan...volunteers as a youth wrestling coach...wishes to become a lawyer...enjoys fishing and hunting
